Welcome to One Ticket Just Go!

Hello! My name is Iliyan and I was born in one of the most beautiful Bulgarian cities – Plovdiv. I created the One Ticket Just Go blog in 2017 after years of travelling the world. I would describe myself as a dreamer, traveller, adventurer, amateur photographer, explorer and a huge fan of the Juventus football club, which is one of the reasons I travelled a lot.

My love for travelling started in from my childhood, when I got obsessed with “The Mysterious Cities of Gold”. The main characters crossed oceans, explored continents and met civilizations like the Incas, the Mayas, the Olmecs and other ancient peoples.

For me travelling is not only a passion, it’s a way of life. It’s my ikigai, a Japanese word meaning “a reason to exist” or “a reason to get out of bed in the morning”.

My goal is to inspire others to travel more and collect memories and moments, not things. I want to show people that dreams can come true, but in order for that to happen they need to leave their comfort zone and dive deep into the adventure. Life is too short to wait for the right moment. The only time we have is now and we never know what tomorrow will bring. If you’ve always dreamed of travelling, there is no better time than now. The world is an amazing place, so you should go and explore it.
